This video shows Peter inspecting an older section of the reef, where SOS oysters have been living since last year’s planting. They are significantly larger and seem to be doing well!
This video provides an overhead view of the Gold Star oyster reef. This specific section contains SOS oysters from years past.
Similar to 2023 and 2024, there continue to be sea stars in some sections of the reef. Although they are a predator to oysters, they do not seem to have hindered the reef as it continues to thrive.
