"Our participation in the CARE program has been an important part of the continued growth of the Great South Bay Oyster Project. This year, we expanded to 120 oyster-growing crates across eight community oyster gardens, and the support, expertise, and collaboration of Cornell Cooperative Extension helped make that growth possible. CARE has provided valuable guidance, resources, and a strong network of partners that have helped us strengthen the program and engage more volunteers in hands-on oyster restoration. We’re grateful for the partnership and look forward to continuing to grow the impact of this work together."

"Larchmont Yacht Club was excited to be a part of this larger community working to improve the state of the Western Long Island Sound. The process was incredibly easy and rewarding and we hope to have a long future working together."

"I am fortunate to participate in oyster gardening at the Northport Yacht Club. Caring for the oysters and watching them grow is rewarding, especially knowing we are improving the health of our local harbors."
